Due to continued expansion, we are looking to recruit a new Account Manager working Monday to Friday from 0900 – 1730 from our offices just on the edge of York City Centre.  Offering excellent opportunities for succession and an attractive package, this could be your next role.

MAIN PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE JOB
Generating business to business sales leads for a variety of clients by contacting prospective contacts working from a database

DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
–  Generating B2B sales leads by contacting prospective clients working from a database
–  It is a general norm that in excess of 70 outbound calls will be made per day
–  Setting appointments. Whilst you will not be held accountable to this number, it is expected that an average of three appointments per day will be secured.
–  Capturing lead / key Information & completing accurate after call notes and entering this on to the client’s database
–  Day to day contact with a number of clients, managing data, callbacks and diary management as and when required
–  Produce an end of day report to send to clients after each day of calling
–  Record accurate Management Information

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES 
–  Outstanding telephone manner, a basic level of sales ability either by experience or desire/confidence
–  MUST enjoy a telephony based role
–  Active listening skills
–  Self-confidence to speak with Director level professionals
–  Enthusiasm
–  Highly organised with high attention to detail
–  Able to work in a small team
–  Computer literate – Excel and CRM packages
–  Ability to interact with customers both directly and indirectly, verbally and in writing
